(Reuters) – Occidental Petroleum had equipped more than $70 per fraction to decide on Anadarko Petroleum Corp, CNBC reported on Friday, citing sources.
Earlier within the day, Chevron Corp mentioned it would purchase Anadarko for $65 per fraction.
Occidental’s explain contained extra cash than Chevron’s offer, the CNBC fileright herementioned.
